Dancing Into Happily Ever After – Discovering Disney Traditions' Royal Wedding Couple Collection

Collectors Guides disney-princess

There are plenty of Disney Traditions figurines that I absolutely adore... but every now and then a collection comes along that makes me want to hunt down every single piece.

This is one of those collections.

When I first came across these beautiful dancing wedding couples, I thought they were simply lovely standalone figurines. Then I realised they were actually part of a small series... and, well... you all know what happens next!

The collector in me immediately wanted to complete the set.

A Celebration of Disney's Happily Ever Afters - The Royal Wedding Coupe Collection

One of the things I love most about Disney Traditions is that Jim Shore doesn't simply recreate scenes from the films.

He captures the emotion.

These figurines celebrate the magical moment after the adventure is over. The villains have been defeated, dreams have come true, and the prince and princess are finally enjoying their happily ever after.

Rather than dramatic action poses, each sculpture shows the couple sharing a romantic dance on their wedding day. Every piece features flowing bridal gowns, elegant movement and Jim Shore's unmistakable folk-art styling, with intricate rosemaling patterns and hand-painted details.

Simple.

Elegant.

Timeless.

The Collection

💙 Cinderella & Prince Charming - Happily Ever After 4056748 - Release year 2017

Perhaps the most iconic Disney wedding of them all.

Cinderella's gown is beautifully understated, with soft blue accents and delicate gold detailing. I particularly love the flowing veil, which gives the whole sculpture a wonderful sense of movement, as though they're gently gliding across the ballroom floor. And the little bluebirds caredully lifting her veil?!  That is SO Cinerella!  I adore it!

❤️ Ariel & Prince Eric - Wedded Bliss 4056748 - Release year 2017

Ariel's wedding dress appeared right at the end of The Little Mermaid, making this figurine feel especially special.

Her vibrant red hair contrasts beautifully with the ivory dress, while Eric's royal blue uniform balances the whole design perfectly.

If you've watched the film as many times as I have, you'll probably find yourself humming Kiss the Girl while admiring this one.

🤍 Snow White & Her Prince - The First Dance 4056748 - Release year 2017

This might actually be my favourite of the three.

Snow White's elegant ivory gown is decorated with subtle gold detailing, while her Prince's rich burgundy cape gives the piece a lovely sense of warmth and romance.  Let's also just take a moment to applaud Prince Florian's wedding outfit - the fella has put the effort in!

There's something wonderfully graceful about the way they're holding hands mid-dance.

The Missing Pieces...

As every collector knows...

Completing the collection is half the fun!

After a bit of research, I discovered that this isn't a large series at all. In fact, the Royal Wedding Couple Collection consists of just five matching Disney Traditions figurines, all introduced together in 2017 with consecutive product numbers (4056747–4056751). That makes it one of the few complete Disney Traditions collections that collectors can realistically aspire to own.

I'm incredibly lucky to already have three of the five, which means there are just two more to find:

💜 4056750 – Aladdin & Jasmine – A Wish Come True

This beautiful figurine captures Jasmine and Aladdin sharing their first dance as husband and wife. The elegant pose, flowing gown and rich colours make it a perfect companion to the other royal wedding couples, and it's definitely climbed high on my wish list.

💛 4056751 – Rapunzel & Flynn Rider – The Big Day

Inspired by Disney's animated short Tangled Ever After, this figurine celebrates Rapunzel and Flynn's long-awaited wedding day. It's a wonderfully fitting addition to the collection and, from what I've seen, one of the more difficult pieces to find at a sensible price.

The hunt officially begins...!

Fun Facts about the Royal Wedding Couple Collection

  • They were introduced together, with consecutive product numbers (4056747–4056749), showing they were designed as a coordinated collection rather than unrelated figurines.
  • The 2017 Enesco catalogue described them as the Royal Wedding Couple Collection, celebrating some of Disney's most iconic princess brides.
  • Each figurine stands approximately 15 cm (6 inches) tall, making them a perfectly matched display set.

Why I Think The Royal Wedding Couple Collection Is So Special

There are hundreds of Disney Traditions figurines available, but this collection feels incredibly cohesive.

Each piece shares the same elegant styling:

  • Flowing wedding dresses
  • Romantic dancing poses
  • Coordinated decorative bases
  • Beautiful folk-art detailing
  • Soft ivory and pastel colour palettes

Displayed together, they almost look like one continuous celebration of Disney's happily ever afters.

It's one of those rare collections where each figurine is beautiful individually...

...but together they become something even more magical.

One thing I've learnt since starting Collectable Figurines is that collecting isn't always about owning the rarest piece or the most valuable one.

Sometimes it's about discovering a collection that simply makes you smile and feel warm inside.

For me, these dancing wedding couples do exactly that.

Now all I need is Rapunzel...

...and perhaps a little bit of Disney magic to help me find her!
