Disney characters through a folk-art lens
Disney Traditions brings Jim Shore’s folk-art approach to Disney characters. Enesco describes his wider style as drawing on American and European folk-art forms, including quilting and decorative painting. That background helps explain the patterned surfaces and decorative details collectors look for in this range.
For background on the artist and range, see Enesco’s Jim Shore profile and official Disney Traditions collection.
How to choose your next piece
Start with the film or character you most enjoy, then compare the pose, colour and size with your display space. A solo character and a larger scene can serve different purposes on a shelf. Check the individual listing rather than assuming that every release has the same material, finish or packaging.
If you are searching for a retired design, keep its item number and a reference photograph to hand. Compare the exact release when checking stock, and treat availability as item-specific.

Buying from Australia
Before ordering, check the exact item number, measurements, photographs and condition notes. Confirm whether the original box is included and whether any repairs are disclosed. A boxed listing and an unboxed listing may offer different things, even when the figurine design is the same.
