The Disney Figurine Item Number Lookup: A New Resource for Collectors

Collectors Guides

Have you ever picked up a Disney figurine and wondered exactly which piece it is?

Perhaps you have found an item number printed beneath the base but no original box to tell you its name. Maybe you have spotted a figurine for sale and want to know which collection it belongs to, when it was introduced or whether there are other pieces from the same range.

We know from experience that identifying Disney collectables is not always as straightforward as it should be. Names can be forgotten, boxes become separated from their figurines and information about older or retired pieces is often scattered across old catalogues, retailer websites and collector databases.

That is why we created the Disney Collectable Figurine Item Number Lookup.

What is the Disney Figurine Item Number Lookup?

Our Item Number Lookup is a growing online reference designed to help collectors identify Disney figurines and discover more about them.

The archive currently includes pieces from three much-loved ranges:

  • Disney Traditions
  • Disney Showcase
  • Disney Britto

At the time of writing, the lookup contains well over 1,000 entries—and it continues to grow as additional pieces and historical information are found and verified.

We have not found another freely accessible resource that brings these collections together in quite the same searchable format. Our hope is that it will become a genuinely useful starting point for collectors, sellers and anyone trying to identify a mystery Disney treasure.

How to use the lookup

You do not necessarily need to know the item number before you begin.

Simply enter any information you have into the search bar. You can search using:

  • An item number
  • A figurine name
  • A Disney character
  • A film or franchise
  • A collection or range

For example, you could search for an item number such as 4039083, a character such as Stitch, a film such as Frozen, or part of a figurine’s name.

You can also filter the results by range or source, making it easier to narrow down a larger set of results.

Each record may include the item number, figurine name, character or characters, film, collection, sub-range, introduction year and the source used to verify the information.

More than a list of numbers

Where we currently have - or have previously had - a figurine at Collectable Figurines, its archive entry may link to the relevant product page on our website.

Even if that particular piece has already found a new home, the product page can still provide helpful information. Depending on the figurine, this may include photographs, dimensions, condition details, background information and observations gathered while we had the piece in our hands.

For figurines we have not owned, an entry may instead direct you to another useful source, such as Enesco, the Jim Shore website or another reference used to verify the information.

The purpose is not simply to present a long list. We want the lookup to help collectors move from “What is this?” to “Now I know what I have—and where I can learn more about it.”

Is it a complete list?

Not yet—and we want to be completely honest about that.

Disney collectable ranges span many years, countries, releases and variations. Records for older and retired figurines can be surprisingly difficult to trace, and occasionally the information found in different sources does not agree.

We would rather build the archive carefully than fill gaps with information we cannot verify.

The lookup is therefore an ongoing project. It is reviewed and refreshed regularly as new releases are introduced, older pieces are discovered and further information becomes available.

If your search does not produce a result, it does not necessarily mean that the figurine or item number is incorrect. It may simply be a piece we have not added yet.

Can you help us fill in the gaps?

Absolutely! Some of the most valuable information comes from collectors themselves.

If you know of a missing figurine—or you spot information that you believe needs correcting—we would genuinely love to hear from you.

You can submit details directly through the form beneath the lookup. The most helpful information includes:

  • The item number
  • The figurine’s name
  • A photograph or transcription of the box label
  • A photograph of the markings beneath the base
  • An old catalogue reference
  • A reliable website or source link
  • Details of unusual editions or variations

Every useful contribution can help make the archive a little more complete for the next person searching.

A resource created for the collecting community

The Disney Figurine Item Number Lookup began with a simple idea: information about these wonderful pieces should be easier to find.

Whether you are cataloguing a treasured collection, researching a figurine before buying it, trying to identify an unboxed discovery or simply enjoying a browse through years of Disney designs, we hope the archive becomes a resource you return to again and again.

It will never truly be “finished”—and that is part of the fun. There will always be another forgotten release, unexpected variation or elusive item number waiting to be found.
