At Collectable Figurines, I offer a friendly and personal figurine-finding service for collectors searching for rare, retired and discontinued Disney collectables. I have now successfully found special pieces for customers across the globe - and I can honestly say that it is one of my favourite parts of running the business.
Helping Collectors Find Those Elusive Pieces
The world of Disney collectables is enormous. Even after years of collecting, there are still pieces I discover that I have never seen before.
Some figurines are readily available, while others appear for sale only occasionally. Limited editions, older retired designs, unusual variations and pieces released exclusively in certain countries can be particularly difficult to find. Even when a figurine does appear, locating one in the right condition and at a fair price can be another challenge entirely.
That is where I can help!
If there is a particular piece on your wish list, let me know as much as you can about it. A product name, product number or photograph is always useful, but please do not worry if you only have a vague description. If all you can remember is the character, scene or collection, I will do my best to identify it with you.
I can’t let you in on all my secrets, of course, but finding collectable figurines has become something of a skill!
I Genuinely Love the Disney Search
This is not simply an additional service I offer - I REALLY enjoy doing it. My husband tells me about the thrill of training. I have never had that - feeling exhausted and hot just isn't my thing. But I imagine the feeling of fining 'that special piece' is somewhat similar to a PB?!
There is a genuine thrill in searching for an elusive figurine, following leads, checking photographs, comparing prices and eventually finding the piece a collector has been hoping for. It feels a little like treasure hunting, and I never quite know where the search might lead.
Some pieces can be found very quickly. Others require patience, persistence and a great deal of detective work. A rare or particularly difficult-to-find figurine may not appear immediately, but that does not mean I will forget about it.
Once I know what you are searching for, I will keep my eyes open and continue looking. I am nothing if not tenacious, and I won’t rest until I find it - I usually do!
Finding any requested piece is rewarding, but there is a special kind of satisfaction in locating something genuinely rare. When a figurine has been missing from a collection for years, or a customer has searched everywhere without success, finally being able to send the message that says, “I think I’ve found it!” is a wonderful feeling.
It is even better when the piece has a personal meaning. Collectables are rarely just ornaments. They can represent a favourite film, a much-loved character, a wedding, an anniversary, a friendship or a memory of someone special. Helping a collector find that piece is a privilege, and it is a part of this business that I truly love. Plus - I get to chat to fellow Disney fans! I really love my job :)
A Personal Service for Fellow Collectors
Many of my customers return to Collectable Figurines again and again, which means an enormous amount to me.
Over time, I get to know the characters they love, the collections they are building and the particular figurines still sitting at the top of their wish lists. I love receiving messages from repeat customers asking me to keep an eye out for their next treasure.

Prices for rare and retired Disney figurines can vary considerably depending on availability, condition, whether the original box is included and how urgently a seller wishes to sell. Knowing your preferred budget helps me focus the search on pieces that are realistically suitable for you.
If I find several options, I may be able to show you the differences between them. For example, there might be a pristine boxed example at a higher price and a lovely unboxed piece that offers better value. Occasionally, a figurine with a small disclosed flaw may be appropriate for someone who simply wants to enjoy displaying it rather than seeking a perfect collector’s example.
I will never assume that the most expensive option is the best one. My aim is to help you find the right piece, in a condition and at a price that you are comfortable with.
You Are Never Obliged to Buy
If I find the figurine you are searching for, you will not be under any obligation to purchase it.
I will share the available information with you, including the price and condition, so that you can decide whether it feels right. Finding a piece does not mean you have committed to buying it, and there will never be pressure from me to do so.
Sometimes the timing simply is not right. The piece may be outside your budget, you may prefer to wait for a boxed example, or you might decide that you want one in better condition. That is absolutely fine.
