What is the difference between Disney Showcase, Couture De Force and Haute Couture?
Have you ever looked at a Disney figurine and wondered whether it’s Disney Showcase, Couture de Force or Haute Couture?
Because I have. Quite regularly, actually.
They all sound fabulously glamorous—but are they different collections? Is one part of another? Has Cinderella quietly launched three separate fashion labels without telling us?
Naturally, I had to investigate. 🕵🏻
What is the difference between Disney Showcase, Couture De Force and Haute Couture?
🏰 Disney Showcase is the larger Enesco collection—the grand umbrella covering several different styles of Disney figurines.
👗 Couture de Force sits within Disney Showcase and reimagines Disney characters as high-fashion creations. Think dramatic gowns, sculpted fabrics, elaborate accessories and villains who look as though they have somewhere extremely important - and probably slightly sinister (which is part of the reason that we love them, right?!)
✨ Haute Couture is used for the especially glamorous, fashion-focused designs within the Couture de Force family—most commonly associated with the princesses and their beautifully reinvented gowns.
So, in very simple terms:
Disney Showcase is the fashion house.
Couture de Force is the designer collection.
Haute Couture is where the princesses arrive dressed for the red carpet.
The reason it feels confusing is that collectors and sellers often use Couture de Force and Haute Couture almost interchangeably. So no - you haven’t missed the memo. The terminology really is a little tangled (see what I did there?!)!
But there we have it: another tiny Disney collecting mystery solved. 🔎✨
