If you collect Disney Traditions, you already know that these pieces are more than just ornaments (don't get me started on the ornament vs figurine debate again 😂).
They are tiny pieces of artwork.
Every character has Jim Shore’s unmistakable style running through it — the folk art patterns, the quilting details, the rosemaling, the colours. Whether it’s a tiny Stitch, a dramatic villain, or a huge statement piece, you instantly know when something is Jim Shore.
But having one personally signed by the artist himself?
That adds a completely different layer.
It connects the piece back to the person who created the original design — and for collectors, that is incredibly special.

The event is running through the official European Jim Shore website:

✨ Choose an eligible Jim Shore figurine
✨ Add SIGNINGEVENT into the order notes at checkout
✨ Jim will sign your chosen piece before it is sent out to you
The event runs until midnight Sunday 14th June 2026 and pieces are available on a first-come, first-served basis.

💜 More Than Just An Artist's Signature
One of the things I love most about collecting is the stories attached to each piece.
Sometimes it’s the film that means something to you.
Sometimes it’s remembering where you found it.
Sometimes it’s finally tracking down that one retired piece you have been hunting forever.
And sometimes it’s something extra special like knowing the artist actually held your figurine and added his signature.
I think that’s pretty magical.

🏰 Jim Shore - The Man Behind The Magic
One thing that has always stood out to me about Jim Shore is how connected he remains with collectors. Watching his blogs is a real pleasure because Jim is not only extremely passionate about his work, but he is also SO likeable!! Jim lets us in to his world, includes fams in family updates, speaks passionatly about being a proud American. He is basically....a jolly good fella! Some people would like to meet Elon Musk, Kate Middleton or David Beckham; me? It would be Jim Shore every day! There's no doubt about it - I would be star struck!!
Despite creating pieces loved all over the world, he still shares updates, talks about designs, introduces new releases, and genuinely seems to enjoy seeing how much people treasure his work.
(Also — anyone who watches his lives knows you never quite know what you're going to get. New Disney reveals, behind-the-scenes stories, maybe a dog appearance… 😂)

The collector in me says… probably.
The sentimental side of me says… does it even matter?
